5 most romantic things to do in Paris – the city of love

Since couples often come to Paris to celebrate a special occasion, here are suggestions of romantic things to do in Paris. Enjoy some quality time with your loved one.

1. Watch the sunset with a view of the Eiffel Tower

Bring a bottle of Champagne, cups, and a snack, and sit down at my favorite sunset spot along the Seine (Greek Warrior side at Pont d’Léna).

2. Find “I love you” in your language

Head to Square Jehan Rictus and show your partner that you love them in all the languages of the world. In case you are traveling without your partner, you could take a picture pointing to I love you and send it to your partner.

3. Have dinner at a French restaurant

French cuisine is said to be one of the best in the world and you can find many amazing chefs in Paris. Whether it’s a Michelin star restaurant or a simple brasserie, French restaurants are usually very stylish or charming and therefore, it’s easy to find a wonderful place for a perfect date.

4. Ascend the steps to the Sacré-Coeur hand in hand

The sight of the Sacré-Coeur is simply so spectacular, that it takes your breath away. Therefore, it’s a good support if you can hold the hand of your partner while ascending the steps to the church. Plus, churches have something romantic about them just because they could be a place to get married and it might give you positive vibes for your future or recreate nice memories about your past. At the top, reward yourselves with some macarons that you brought from the city center.

5. Take a picture in a black and white photo booth

If you like the movie Amélie, you know the big significance that a photo booth has in Paris. In the shopping center below the Louvre, I spotted one such booth. Pull the curtain and take some cheese pictures with your loved one.
