The best hotels in Paris – The most charming places
I extra tried hotels in different areas of Paris, to see where it’s most convenient to be based. Here are the best hotels in Paris.
Le Narcisse Blanc
This beautiful 5-star hotel is within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower as well as the Orsay Museum on the left bank of the Seine. The rooms are bright and quiet. On top of that, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable so that I had a very restorative sleep.
If you want to rest during the day or if it is raining, Le Narcisse Blanc offers something that you can hardly find in any other hotel in Paris, due to lack of space: an indoor pool with a jacuzzi and daybeds. Make yourself comfortable while reading a magazine or sitting in the dry sauna.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and always smiling. They will answer any questions you might have about Paris. Reserve your stay on the hotel’s website and receive a free champagne welcome by entering the code “#priviledgenarcisse”. I enjoyed the breakfast with the tasty guacamole/avocado toast and high-quality hot chocolate.
The restaurant is very stylish, and therefore, you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to also have lunch or dinner at the restaurant Cléo. It’s a fantastic gastronomy experience with French dishes that are perfected with distinct flavors. As an amuse-bouche, we received a cucumber gazpacho. For an appetizer, I can really recommend the leek. Especially if you have watched “Emily in Paris” you know that a well-cooked leek can wow you. The combination at Cléo with fish eggs and a delicious sauce was so good that I would go back just for the leek. All is accompanied by tasty bread. For the main course, I had the veal of which every bite along with the lemon sauce was divine.
The best hotels in Paris with view of the Eiffel Tower
Victoria Palace Hotel
This hotel combines style and luxury, and you just feel in a better mood as soon as you step through the pretty glass doors. There is an inviting communal area on the first floor with a stylish bar and a nicely equipped co-working space in another room. You can use the fitness area or the small dry sauna. The best of it, however, was my room, which was a dream come true. I had a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower from my window. It looked amazing during the day as well as during the night. This way, it was very comfortable to catch the light show that happens on top of every hour after nightfall until 1 a.m. Besides, the room was quiet, and the a/c had the perfect temperature. Therefore, I had a good sleep.
Victoria Palace Hotel is in a great neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. It’s also very close to Jardin du Luxembourg and definitely my favorite place to stay in this price range.
The best hotels in Paris on the right bank of the Seine
La Maison Favart
This hotel has a fantastic location within walking distance of Opera Garnier, the Louvre and it is close to Sacré Coeur and rue Sainte Anne’s many delicious Japanese restaurants and Bubble Tea shops. However, this area is also home to many famous traditional French brasseries. At La Maison Favart, you won’t need the metro to go explore Paris.
Along with the cute wall ornaments, I was welcomed with pink balloons, flowers, and a delicious macaron on my bed. Exactly what I was craving on my visit to Paris! My highlight was the free massage bed in the fitness area. It’s a waterbed that will soothe your sore muscles from sightseeing with a 20-minutes massage program. There also is a small pool and sauna next to the fitness room. Since there is no space to lie down in the wellness area, you should quickly head back up to your charmingly decorated room afterward.
The rooms all have names that fit the life of the artistic, iconic couple who has inspired the hotel’s story, Mr. and Mrs. Favart. He was a playwright and she a dancer and actress. Hence the historic hotel next to the Opéra Comique is in a perfect location. On the breakfast buffet, you could find bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, meats, cheeses, and juices. During the day, you could enjoy free tea/coffee in the equally lovely lobby or breakfast room and there was free cake as well.
Book your stay on the hotel’s website and enter the code “Favartbliss” in order to receive a free breakfast.
Les Deux Girafes
This hotel welcomes you with stylish lights and fresh colors in the lobby, restaurant, and rooms. I liked my rocking chair and above all the free-standing bathtub with a view into the small, green courtyard. There was Kusmi Tea in the room and breakfast at the restaurant Le Beslay had a good selection of baguettes and Muesli. My highlight was the fresh avocado. The hotel is close to Parmentier metro station from which you can reach any other place you want to visit in the city center. If you still have power after your day of exploration, you can make use of the equipment in the fitness room.
